There was a cat who regularly came to our office just to have something to eat. We named his “Hanashiro,” because the area around his nose is white.
At first, our relationship with Hanashiro was quite simple. He would come to the office, eat his meal, and then leave again. We never knew exactly where he went after that.
Over time, however, things gradually changed. Hanashiro began coming to our home as well. Little by little, he became more comfortable around us and started coming inside. Eventually, we decided to take him in and give him a safe place to call home.
Today, Hanashiro has a rather relaxed lifestyle. he goes back and forth between the house and the outdoors. Although he still enjoys spending time outside, he also knows that he has a place where he can come back and feel safe.
One of the things we love most about Hanashiro is how affectionate he is. Whenever we get close to him, he often starts purring. That gentle “purr, purr” is of the sweetest things about him, and it never fails to make us smile.
In this photo, Hanashiro is lying comfortably on the pavement, looking completely relaxed. Seeing his stretch out so peacefully makes us wonder if he has finally learned that he has nothing to worry about here.
It is wonderful to think about how a cat who originally came to our office for food gradually became part of our everyday lives. We never planned for this to happen, but sometimes a special bond develops naturally.
Hanashiro has found his way into our home and into our hearts. We hope he will continue to live a happy, healthy, and peaceful life, knowing that he always has a place to come home to.
以前、事務所にごはんを食べに来ていた一匹の猫がいました。名前は「ハナシロ」。鼻のあたりが白いことから、いつの間にかそう呼ぶようになった猫です。
最初は、事務所に来たときにごはんをあげるだけの関係でした。食事が終わると、またどこかへ帰っていく。そんな日々が続いていました。
ところが、ある頃からハナシロが我が家にも姿を見せるようになりました。少しずつ距離が近くなり、いつの間にか家の中にも入ってくるように。そして、この子を保護することになりました。
現在のハナシロは、家の中と外を自由に行き来しながら暮らしています。外で過ごすこともありますが、家に帰ってくると安心したような表情を見せてくれます。
そして何よりかわいいのが、近くに行くと「ゴロゴロ」と喉を鳴らしてくれるところ。そばにいるだけで甘えてくれるような仕草に、毎回癒されています。
今回の写真は、気持ちよさそうに道路で横になっているハナシロ。無防備にゴロンと寝転がっている姿を見ると、すっかり安心しているのかなと思わず笑顔になります。
外で暮らしていた猫が、少しずつ人との距離を縮め、今では我が家にも居場所を見つけてくれたこと。その変化を見守れることが、とても嬉しく感じます。
これからもハナシロが元気に、のんびりと暮らしていけるように、家族の一員として見守っていきたいと思います。
