Summer in Karuizawa is always busy, and the crowds can be quite impressive.
This time, I headed to Tsuruya Karuizawa Store, of the supermarkets I always enjoy visiting. When I arrived, the parking lot was already packed with cars. Even with its large parking area, it can get extremely busy during the summer season.
Still, Tsuruya Karuizawa Store is a place worth visiting. The store offers a wide variety of local Nagano products as well as many Tsuruya original items, making shopping here an enjoyable experience. Reviews also praise the store for its excellent selection and variety of original products.
But this time, I had particular item in mind: Chateaubriand.
The Chateaubriand I was looking for is available at Tsuruya Karuizawa Store, so I was really hoping to get it this time as well.
Unfortunately, when I reached the meat section, it was already sold out!
I was disappointed, but at the same time, I thought, “That’s Tsuruya Karuizawa Store for you.” It must be a very popular item if it sells out so quickly.
I didn't manage to get the Chateaubriand this time, but browsing the store is always enjoyable. Next time, I will try to arrive earlier and hopefully finally get my hands on it.
夏の軽井沢は、やっぱりすごい人です。
今回も向かったのは、軽井沢で人気のスーパーマーケット「ツルヤ軽井沢店」。到着してみると、駐車場はたくさんの車でいっぱい。広い駐車場を見ても、この時期の軽井沢の賑わいを実感します。
それでも、わざわざ足を運びたくなるのがツルヤ軽井沢店です。
長野県ならではの商品や、ツルヤオリジナルの商品など、ここでしか出会えないものがたくさんあります。口コミでも、品揃えの豊富さやオリジナル商品を楽しみに訪れる人が多いようです。
そして今回のお目当ては、もちろんシャトーブリアン。
このシャトーブリアンは、私にとってツルヤ軽井沢店に来たらぜひ買いたい一品。軽井沢店でしか購入できないので、今回も楽しみにしてやって来ました。
ところが、お肉売り場に行ってみると……なんと完売！
残念ではありますが、さすがツルヤ軽井沢店。人気の商品だけに、やはり簡単には手に入りません。
今回はシャトーブリアンには出会えませんでしたが、店内を見て回るだけでも楽しいツルヤ。次回はもう少し早い時間に訪れて、今度こそシャトーブリアンを手に入れたいと思います。
