Living in Saku City, I often notice the changing seasons in the middle of my everyday life. On my usual running route, I can already feel the first signs of autumn.
During the summer, the rice fields were covered in fresh green rice plants. Now, the rice is beginning to ripen and slowly turn golden. As I run along the fields and look at the beautiful scenery, I can feel that autumn is getting closer. It is a peaceful landscape that represents the natural beauty of Shinshu.
Another wonderful feature of Saku City is its abundant water. There are many small waterways running around the rice fields, and clear water quietly flows through them. This rich water supply supports local agriculture and has been an important part of life in Saku for many years.
Running along the same route, looking at the rice fields, and listening to the sound of flowing water may seem like ordinary moments. However, these simple scenes are of the things I truly enjoy about living in Saku City.
I am looking forward to seeing the rice fields become more golden as autumn arrives. For me, these everyday views are a beautiful reminder of the connection between nature, water, agriculture, and life in Saku City.
佐久市で暮らしていると、何気ない日常の中で季節の変化を感じる瞬間があります。私がいつも走っているランニングコースにも、少しずつ秋の気配が感じられるようになってきました。
夏の間は青々としていた田んぼも、稲が実り、少しずつ黄金色に変わり始めています。田んぼの風景を眺めながら走っていると、「今年も秋が近づいてきたな」と感じます。都会ではなかなか見ることのできない、信州らしい美しい風景です。
そして、佐久市の魅力のひとつが「水の豊かさ」です。田んぼの周りには昔から続く水路があり、澄んだ水が静かに流れています。豊かな水は農業を支えるだけでなく、佐久市の自然や暮らしにも深く関わっています。
いつもの道を走り、田んぼを眺め、水路の音に耳を傾ける。特別な観光地ではなくても、こうした何気ない風景の中に、佐久市で暮らす楽しさがあります。
これから稲穂がさらに色づき、秋の風景へと変わっていくのが楽しみです。
